  • I absolutely loved joining a Virtual Village with Julie. My sessions started when my baby was just 2 weeks old, and having a community of other moms to talk to, bounce ideas off of, and just connect with was a crucial part of my adjustment to mom life. I still think about the advice that I learned from Julie and the other women in the group. It was an extremely valuable and fun experience that I highly recommend to any new mom!

  • When it comes to being a new mom there are a lot of mixed emotions that come along with it. From your birth story, your body to your new life, discussing these topics are not always easy. Virtual Village created a safe and welcoming environment for me that gave me the confidence to open up about these feelings. But more importantly it showed me that I am not alone. The best support and advice you can get during the fourth trimester comes from your new mom friends. Even if they are complete strangers or familiar faces, you can all bond over not sleeping, what swaddle works best, and the challenges and/or achievements of the week. Julie not only was so knowledgeable about parenting, but she also always made sure to follow up if I needed that additional support. I am so grateful to her and my new friends whose encouragement and discussions I looked forward to weekly. I cannot recommend Julie and virtual village enough!

  • I highly recommend Julie's Virtual Village. It was so nice to be able to meet other new moms despite the limitations of COVID. Julie did a great job of moderating the group and somehow made meeting over Zoom not feel awkward. I looked forward to our sessions every week and missed them when it ended!
    — Rachel

  • Virtual Village is honestly such a great way to connect during these times. The weekly meetings were something I looked forward to, not only to have a free hour without my baby , but to chat and talk to other mommas who were in the exact same position or just a few weeks ahead/behind me. I was honestly so sad to be finished with our sessions. It was super helpful and obviously I would be remiss if I didn't mention how great Julie was! She is such a wealth of knowledge when it comes to baby things but on top of that she is so welcoming and personable that you are drawn to her as if you were friends for years even when you just met. Not one question or comment will be said without a supporting nod from Julie or a story to help you cope with whatever it is you are going through. If you are on the cusp of joining, I would HIGHLY recommend.

  • I looked forward to my Virtual Village with Julie every week! It was such a great opportunity to connect with other new moms, and get advice on things I was experiencing with my newborn daughter, and make some new friends along the way. From tackling 3-month sleep regression, dealing with an infant food strike, to hiring a nanny for the first time-- so much of what we covered during our sessions has been incredibly helpful for my family. Julie is an incredible resource for all things babies and kids and made this such a great experience. She literally knows EVERYTHING! I cannot recommend her group enough for all new moms!

  • Mom friends make the best friends, and I would not have met mine if not for Julie’s Virtual Village. Julie does an amazing job at not only moderating the conversations in such a seamless way, but also thoughtfully organizing each session to touch on a different unique topic so the discussion doesn’t get stale. Julie created this platform because she genuinely wants to help and will go to no end until she resolves any issue you have. It takes a village to raise a kid and anyone would be lucky to have Julie in theirs.

  • Virtual Village helped me survive the challenging and overwhelming weeks of new motherhood. It was more than just an outlet, it was something to look forward to each week with a group that was going through the same wavelengths as me. The ongoing love, care and support I received from Julie was invaluable. Thanks to Julie, I was able to learn the realistic ins and outs of motherhood without feeling overwhelmed. Julie for President.

  • Virtual Villages was such an amazing way to meet and connect with other new moms. I was so worried that I would lose out on that experience because of the pandemic, but Virtual Villages allowed me to find a community in the midst of all the craziness. Julie was extremely knowledgeable in all things parenting and made everyone feel comfortable in facilitating each session. I am so glad that I found Virtual Villages - it truly helped me get through the fourth trimester.
    — Alex

  • Is Virtual Village worth it? YES, YES, YES!!!!!!!! You can read every baby book you want, but there is nothing as reassuring or helpful as another mama who is going through the same thing as you. Julie is a no BS, knowledgeable, supportive angel who brings mamas together through a virtual support group where you discuss challenges and milestones on a weekly basis. Not only did Virtual Village make me feel more human, but it also helped me sort through the first-time Mom fog with clearer eyes. You will not regret joining her class!

    — Amy

  • Julie has created a very special place for new moms. I would spend the week noting things I wanted to talk about, and always had the time and space to discuss everything on my mind, and get valuable answers. I felt like I had an extra cushion of support outside of my friends and family, a new support team just for me.
    — Jess

  • Julie's Virtual Village group was absolutely INCREDIBLE! It's hard enough being a new mom, let alone one during a pandemic. This group made me feel like I wasn't alone. Any feeling of isolation completely dissipated, as I had a group of women I could rely on! I can not recommend Julie and Virtual Village enough!
    — Lauren

  • I absolutely loved being a part of my Virtual Village! We gave birth during such an isolating time (covid) and being able to come together every week to discuss all the highs, lows, joys, and troubles that come with motherhood was one of the highlights of my week! Julie does an amazing job creating a safe, warm and open space for us to all chat in. The moms in the group were amazing and months later we still are all in touch. I highly recommend it!
    — Samantha

  • Taking part in the Virtual Village was one of the best decisions I have made postpartum. Each week, for 6 weeks, I had the chance to chat, ask advice, and connect with other mamas that had babies the same age as mine. Julie helped to foster a sense of community and guided us through our first time mom experiences with grace and positivity. Her support, along with the support of the other moms in the group, was truly invaluable.”
    — Sam

  • Virtual Village was an invaluable resource as a first time mom with a newborn. It was so great to be able to shamelessly ask questions and run all sorts of scenarios by the other moms. To have a cohort of other women going through the exact same thing was both incredibly comforting and so helpful.
    — Margot

  • I absolutely loved Julie’s Virtual Village! As a new mama, I didn’t always know what day it was but I was always looking forward to Tuesday mornings. It was so great to be able to chat openly with other new moms, especially in a pandemic, and feel a sense of community. Julie always gave the best advice and our meetings always ended with me feeling confident and self assured!
    — Carly

  • Virtual Village was a lifesaver as a new mom. The first few weeks after giving birth to my son, I felt very alone, overwhelmed and lost on what to do and how to handle certain situations. After joining the group, not only did I meet incredible new moms that I now can consider my friends, but I found support and comfort knowing I was not alone. Each session was a time where we were able to share our feelings (good and bad) without feeling embarrassed or ashamed. We all learned from each other, and because of that, I feel more confident as a mother.
    — Lauren

  • This group was an amazing resource! As a first time mom you have so many questions and so many thoughts and you never know who to ask. Having the virtual village provided the space to laugh but also celebrate successes together with other first time moms. Julie is always SO supportive, full of wonderful knowledge and information that helped to guide me as a first time mom. You could never ask too many questions. Julie was always your cheerleader reminding you that even on the hard days, you can do this!
    — Alyssa

  • I really looked forward to our weekly class. Julie is a wealth of knowledge, a voice of reason, super supportive and will also make you laugh. I came out of the group with a bunch of new friends. We still talk daily on group chat and get together all the time. Looking back, I’d be lost without it!
    — Amelia

  • The virtual villages Julie has set up are amazing!! She connects you with moms in your area and provides an incredible opportunity to share challenges, compare notes and exchange advice! I looked forward to the meeting every week and would highly recommend to first-time mommas!!!
    — Abby

  • The Virtual Village was the perfect way to connect with other new moms, especially during a pandemic when it wasn’t easy to do in person, especially with a newborn. I got some great advice that helped my family handle everything from postpartum, feeding, sleeping, tummy time, travel, childcare etc. - but it also just felt great to share thoughts with other moms in the exact same boat. Julie does an awesome job of facilitating the conversation and giving every member a voice each week. So many of the moms in my group lived nearby, so I look forward to keeping in touch and continuing to meet in person!
    — Suzanne

  • I am so glad I joined Virtual Village. As a first time mom, it was so helpful to meet with other moms who also had a baby around the same age as mine. Every week, we’d discuss common developmental milestones, successes and challenges. It was so nice to have a safe space to vent, learn from each other and grow together. For those that lived nearby, we ended up meeting live in the park once a week to continue the conversations and create a friendship. These will be lifelong friends and I am forever grateful, thank you so much Julie!
    — Alli

  • I highly recommend this group! I met lifelong friends and my little one met some of his first friends. It’s a group that I can chat with daily about all mom related things, which is a giant help going through something that can be otherwise lonely, especially during a pandemic. It’s especially helpful that everyone has a baby around the same time. Julie is also a great resource for all things baby, such as sleep specialists or really any specialist you may need!
    — Jackie

  • Julie was an amazing facilitator who created a safe space where new moms could feel free to talk about anything and everything. I looked forward to the group every week and still keep in touch with the women I met.
    — Leah

  • I found Virtual Village a few days after I gave birth. I was lost, upset, and exhausted. Once I started Virtual Village with Julie, I immediately felt less alone and like I could breathe again. Her take on motherhood and tips for these stages have helped me immensely and I feel so much more confident. The women she put me with felt like my old friends (I had never met them before this nor have we technically even met in real life) and the conversations flowed so well. I truly loved every week I got to zoom in. If you feel lost, or even if you just want to chat with some moms, don’t wait!
    — Debra

  • The Virtual Village run by Julie was the best thing I could have done for myself while going through the newborn stage. It was truly something I looked forward to every week! Connecting with new moms of babies the same age as mine, talking about common issues we were all having, and receiving advice/support was exactly what I needed. I walked away from the group with new friends who I could reach out to even after the weekly meetings were over. Highly recommend this group for first time moms.
    — Lara

  • Participating in a Virtual Village was such a positive way to meet other moms and connect (and sometimes vent!) about all things being a new parent. Julie was the perfect group leader — chiming in to help bring to light our thoughts, but also would step back and let the group members lead the conversation. I met some incredible people, and since the group ended, we have been keeping in touch. I’m so glad I joined, and would absolutely recommend it to all new parents!

I seriously don't know how I would have gotten through the 4th trimester without the virtual village! Julie created such a warm, comforting and supportive environment where no topic or question was off limits. She always knew exactly what to say, no matter the circumstance, because she's been there herself or knows someone who has gone through the same thing. It really helped to put ALL of my fears and anxieties to rest (of which there were many) and I just feel so much more confident and at ease as a parent because of it. Not to mention it has helped me to meet an amazing group of likeminded mothers who I will no doubt stay close with for years to come. There really aren't enough words to articulate how truly great this experience was and I could not recommend it enough to any new mom!
